Queen's University

Brain Awareness Day

Every May the Centre for Neuroscience Studies plays host to approximately 200 grade 5 students from local elementary schools. The students enjoy a day long event where they are engaged in demonstrations, activities and hands on experiments to teach them all about neuroscience research. The day of the event, the students are asked to submit research posters to us which are left on display at Queen's University. The top posters are rewarded with prizes. This is an exceptionally well received event with waiting lists each year of schools looking to participate.
